We totally enjoyed our family stay at the cabin! The snow was up to our knees! We celebrated on New Year’s Eve. I made a secret stash of snowballs and hid them on the left corner of the cabin for the kids. There is a small squirrel that keeps coming to the window to visit. We played checkers and Battleship in front of the fire—it was so fun! Thanks for a superb stay.

We made a bar on the beach out of snow and ice, built a bonfire, and toasted the New Year at the Ice Bar! A memory that will last a lifetime.

We used the cabin as our “home base” during the Noquemanon Ski Marathon 2008. Having such a fantastic place to relax and enjoy made the whole race experience that much better. Marquette is one of the Midwest’s coolest towns, the Noque is my favorite race of the season and your cabin is the icing on the cake. Thanks Andersons. January 2008

Came up to your beautiful cabin for the weekend, skied and went to Eben to the Ice Caves. Very cold, but it was so nice to have a fire and look out at the frozen lake. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. February 2008

We had an awesome winter trip. We skied downhill at Marquette Mountain and cross country at Blueberry Ridge and Presque Isle. The ice formations on Lake Superior were majestic and we spent time crawling around and over the 20 ft. peaks. The artwork in the cabin added a fun, special touch, and my father-in-law had a great time studying the additions to the structure.

What a fantastic time we had snowmobiling around Marquette and enjoying your cabin. The weather was perfect, the house was great and we are planning to make this an annual trip. Thanks for everything. March 2008
